From a chemical viewpoint, three plausible candidates, i.e., (1) the rotational motion of the earth (the Coriolis force), (2) CPL-induced asymmetric photochemical reactions, and (3) MChD-induced asymmetric photochemical reactions, have been proposed to explain the origins of the homochirality of life (G. H. Wagnière, On Chirality and the Universal Asymmetry: Reflections on Image and Mirror, VHCA, Wiley-VCH, Weinheim (2007). A. Guijarro and M. Yus, The Origin of Chirality in the Molecules of Life, RSC Publishing, Cambridge (2009).).
